Their one weakness to Ground is horrible since fucking everything gets either Earthquake, Earth Power, or that other new ground attack, and because it's so available you have plenty of attackers available to use ground to cover it and other relevant types in Steel, Rock, and Fire.
Poison was never seen offensively since it's resisted by so many types and is pretty much only considered for Fairy coverage, both it and Steel are limited in attack options let alone attackers.
One weakness to Ground for glass cannons is way worse than two irrelevant weaknesses on tanks.
Rotom abuses Levitate + Electric, but they're all dual-typed so you have additional weaknesses to prey on. Eelektross is shit even with Levitate removing its only weakness lmao
