big fan of funny spreads like these. Stonjourner could use both a cooler design and being a mixed attacker though, imo. Rock dude is fine as far as its offensive characterization goes but you can go deeper.

Yes, by creating more slow Rock and Ice-type Pokémon with multiple weaknesses (and a double-weakness or two). Worked in every generation since gen 1 and keeps Pokémon like Garchomp and Incineroar in check keeping them from being overly common.

To be fair this usually only applies to Legendaries and Pseudos which are only relevant in competitive, which like 1% of the player base participates in. The mons you actually find and use over the course of the game are usually perfectly fine. The non-postgame dex of USUM for instance is a bunch of slow as fuck guys with no defense who can be outsped and OHKO by Onyx.

- Aegislash in gen 8 bring a -10 to both defenses and attacking stats.
- Gengar's Levitate being replaced with Cursed Body in gen 6 (pissed people off).
- Talonflame's Gale Wings in gen 7 only working if at full HP
- Refrigerate/Pixilate/Aerilate having their power increase reduced from 30% to 20% in gen 7 (did Aurorus and Sylveon really need to be nerfed?).
- Mega Kangaskhan's Parental Bond in gen 7 where the second strike deals 25% of damage a move would normally yield.
- Darkrai's Dark Void's accuracy being reduced to 50% (from 80%) per target in gen 7 (thanks Smeargle).

- Too fast for Trick Room, too slow for Hyper Offense
- Special Defense low enough so that the Pokémon can be OHKO by neutral special moves
- High Defense that is rendered moot by its multiple common weaknesses
- Stone Edge misses while Charizard's Focus Blast doesn't miss, conveniently enough

Any ROM hack without any of this bullshit? Radical Red supposedly has a lot of shitmons buffed but it turned out to just be selective meme shit like Bug/Fighting Ledian (explain) and Electric/Dark Luxray (explain) while Pokémon like Aurorus are still stuck with their shit stats and typings.

I just wish fast Pokemon and the powercreep legendaries lose the priority moves in their movepool.
Just no, give the priority moves to slower Pokemon.

Because a slow Pokémon like Tyrantrum being able to learn Accelerock would ruin all the balancing that the VGC has right now.

Zacian is balanced.
Fisheous Rend and Bolt Beak are balanced.
Incineroar's 60% usage rate isn't centralizing.
Fairy doesn't need a nerf.
Ice is a good defensive typing.
Leaf Guard is a good ability.
Meganium doesn't need a buff.
More powerful Pokémon need Mega Evolutions.
Charizard doesn't have enough special forms.
Physical Electric-type Pokémon don't need anything better than Wild Charge.
Special Rock-type Pokémon don't need anything better than Ancient Power.
Special Fighting-type Pokémon don't need anything better than Focus Blast.
