Right now though, he's currently busy working on a 2.5D Sonic engine. I'm not entirely sure why he's doing this, but I guess it's to pay the bills, because the browser got delayed because he was behind on some bills. Probably didn't help that the virtual boy title he was programming(Yan's World) fell through because the guy who hired him for it was an idiot and also didn't even pay him properly. I'd share a picture but image limit reached and all that, all you need to know is that the Sonic engine is really fucking impressive.
I just talked to him about progress on his web browser, he said it's still pretty far behind but he made some improvements recently. Because an image viewer website he tested took 306 seconds before it loaded(it's a manga website full of images,) he finally implemented the ability to stream in the background other content after the HTML itself has loaded.
He gives me hope for the future.
