Cubchoo was cute and there was great potential for a polar bear mon, but instead we get this shitty triangle bear with a mucus beard.

Kalos and Alola’s dexes are some of the only things they’ve got going for them
Yeah the starters are shit and there’s a few truly trash designs like volcanion but overall both are very strong regions design-wise.

This. Kalos has a slim dex, but the designs are outstanding. And Alola has great native mons, great regional variants, and cool UBs.

Its also mono-type and has no gimmicks on top of being but ugly. Its not cool/edgy, not furry bait, not cute, it has no niche. Its just ugly and weak.
