Seriously, what was the point of the design changes with respect to remakes? FRLG were faithful remakes, not even allowing gen 2+ Mons until Postgame. Then HGSS changed a lot of shit, allowed trading with dppt, added a ton of new features and generally was quite innovative. ORAS also added a lot of new features, but instead of incorporating the best ideas from emerald like hgss did with crystal, they just went for straight remakes instead, which makes its status as an improvement on the original as debatable.
Now with BDSM they're being conservative even with the visuals. Seriously. What the fuck.

Considering that the current Battle Tower is the worst of its kind, yes, yes it is.

The Battle Maison was alright at best, but then ORAS didn't offer anything new outside of just a copy/paste job of what X&Y had. Come gen 7 with the Battle Tree and Triple/Rotation battles are gone. Then comes gen 8 getting rid of the super battle format as well as replacing the multi battle format with a cheap copy locked behind a paywall
