Yeah no, sorry, BDSP only needed to be a performance upgrade and it's that and then some. The most baffling decision in the entire game was keeping limited TMs, but I've played enough HGSS and earlier to be fine with it.

The only people who hate BDSP are Compshitters and their opinion holds no value.

This is the only reason I might decide to pick them up.
Playing through early Platinum is a fucking slog if you don't immediately want to use the same 3 mons or want to grind/be there at the right day.

"Gym Leader rematches were first introduced in Pokémon Emerald. They are featured in all subsequent core series games with Gym Leaders, EXCEPT FOR Pokémon DIAMOND, PEARL, Black, White, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire."
So they probably won't have rematches. GF shill Mistah Merriku has already stated that they won't be Platinum remakes and he has more insider information than we do.
