The music tracks in these games are just the original .midi songs but with a cheap orchestral soundfont. Just like LGPE they rushed the soundtrack, i miss when they still tried to make professional sounding remixes like in OR/AS or HG/SS.
(and no the trainer battle theme is not a placeholder and it will never be changed, these games are already done and ready to be sold)
