Now that it's been a few years and the dust has settled what are your thoughts on the Pokemon desgins in Sun and Moon?

Mostly kinda mid-tier. The starters are irredeemable and the box legendaries are horrendous.
Conversely, the Ultra Beasts are cool as shit and most of the non-waifubait mon are dope (like pic related). Having only ~80 of them kinda exacerbates my problem with the starters and legendaries though.
And don't get me started on the mythicals.

Great. Favorite along with Gen 1. They look modern, but somehow felt like a throwback to the first 3 gens' artstyles.

There are some good designs, but there are more bad than good ones. That being said, the Tapu's are some of the best designed pokemon of the entire franchise. They hit gold with them, they have all the best qualities of what made Pokemon so popular from the start

Unironically the worst dex in the series, with Ultra Beasts being probably the only real high point. Anthros, waifus, tons of slowshitters for no reason. I unironically want to strangle whoever designed half of those mons.
