>>48439039It replaced it, not removed it. HMs are still technically in the game, except now they're a poketch app which handles them way better.
Grinding was bad content, so yes removing it was a good thing.
If you seriously argue slowdown was content you're a moron.
The underground was basically non-content with nothing of value to do and only existed to get fossils (which were shit) and the stupid flag bullshit only existed to unlock Spiritomb (the second most stupid method of getting a pokemon, the first is the shit with evolving yamask in SwSh and the third is flipping your 3ds upside down for that squid pokemon from the 3ds games). Now, it serves as a way to catch more pokemon and also retains all of the other old features other than the flag bullshit, which means the way to get Spiritomb will be different and hopefully better.
It also streamlined the contests to make them actually look fun to play instead of whatever the fuck they were in the originals.
It also added more content; customizable outfits and following pokemon that we're aware of. For all we know there's more added we don't know about yet.
>BUT MUH SHITTY SIDE AREA IN HEARTHHOME!Your pokemon - any of them - can follow you at any time now. It's a redundant area that serves no purpose now.
>BUT MUH DISTORTION WORLD!Most obnoxious dungeon in any pokemon game. Fuck the distortion world, but you're probably going to get it as DLC in 2022 since they confirmed both BDSP and PLA were getting additional content in 2022.
>BUT MUH BATTLE FRONTIERYou have no way of knowing if it's in or not yet, and if it is good for you, if it isn't tough shit, only compshitters liked it. I've never touched a Battle Frontier in my life. For me, the postgame after the elite four is catching them all. I have no interest in compshittery.
