>>48441721>Okay?? Then you tell me the difference between a remake and a remaster??“As someone else put it, a remake should be giving you an entirely fresh experience such as FRLG, HGSS, ORAS did with their additions and core gameplay changes (abilities/held items, special/physical split, megas). BDSP doesn’t do that, it’s just Diamond and Pearl remastered for the modern age.”
>It's a complete overhaul to the map of the Underground. You can now find Pokémon Underground in select areas when you have a certain item in your base, that’s it. It’s a neat addition, sure, but nothing mind blowing.
The fact that people need to harp on some optional minigame, as opposed to anything of substance, shows how this game is a remaster and not a remake.
>The graphics while shitty artsyle, was technically made from the ground-up with a brand new engine. If your argument is BDSM is made in a new engine with updated visuals so it’s a remake, you clearly don’t know what a remaster is. Which is probably why you’re getting so upset over me calling it that. You think it’s an insult and immediately have to defend it.
>>48441751>Following Pokemon can now happen everywhere in the region.Still just cosmetic.
>So do remakes, like HGSS and ORAS. Where they differ is in what else they do. A remaster is nothing but updated visuals and slight tweaks.
I don’t know how about could look at RBY/FRLG, GSC/HGSS, RSE/ORAS, and claim DP/BDSM is on the same level at them. It’s not. And it’s not trying to be. It’s a remaster of DP by an outsourced company, not a remake by Game Freak.
