I will never understand what GF was thinking with Kalos, shit like the four rivals and shit like Mega Evolution makes me think they wanted to have XY be way bigger games than the previous entries in the series but the region itself is the same size as the rest and is basically a repeat of the Gen III plot for all intents and purposes.

Terrible. Calling megas Super Saiyans is a compliment, Diantha has a great aesthetic, including a good team and a great song, customization isn't a bad thing, Tierno is fatually the most unique rival in the series, Shauna has actual development, Lysandre himself is a good villain, and lack of postgame doesn't actually mean anything. XY are pretty damn bad, you don't need to shitpost random topics to prove it.

It certainly could've been better, Accelgor, Vanilluxe & Escavalier give Alder a pretty big weakness to Fire-Types, not helped that Emboar, the Fire-Type most likely for people to have is also part Fighting-Type meaning Bouffalant is also weak to it.

They probably also would've been better with him having Haxorus instead of Druddigon, I get not wanting to have Hydreigon since Ghetsis used one and it'd be kinda awkward then.

Maybe not the best team but it avoids repeating a type 3 times. And having to many repeats.

I realize that gives him tow Pokemon in common with his own Elite Four although Golurk and Mienshao I don't feel particularly fit Shauntal and Marshal's teams so for post-game you could probably swap them out.
