she's pretty and has the right skintone but didn't even get a proper wig which ruins the whole thing.
the costume itself looks aliexpress tier which isn't always bad, but that bow looks crinkly as fuck. also, cover your damn tattoos, there's makeup for that. that all being said though, still has a cute face at the end of the day so almost everyone else will let it slide anyways.

Typically I say there's no wrong way to cosplay besides blackfacing (which, no), but she really should have invested in a wig. Just doesn't look like Bea without the hair. It's fine otherwise. Tatt isn't too intrusive (covering it with make-up would be fine though), costume quality is alright. And as a bonus her skin tone is perfect, which is rare (but understandably not something people can just change). Just no fucking wig makes it look off.

Like with women, I don't think tattoos look good on men in 99% of cases. I don't expect the world to cater to my preferences so if it makes people happy than go for it but I still think they generally look bad. And I'll never not roll my eyes at people who say that getting tattoos are their hobby or passion.

Yeah, but that "my tats are my entire personality" thing is way more common with girls (literal thots), from my observations.
Men more often have some worthwhile activities, with tattoos being just an addition to their personality. Of course worthless pussybois exist, but they're on the verge of trannying, so it's even hard to count them as men.

Why do "cosplay girls" like this always put in the minimum effort into trying to be the characters they're trying to be?
Wear a short wig if you wanna be the character not make an excuse that it's a long haired version of it or think you'll get less attention with short hair since I can only assume that's her reasoning deep down inside.
The way it looks now she's just another football player and that's it.

Minimum effort is every Misty cosplay because it tends to be the one version you can spend two seconds in a thrift store putting together. Bea's outfit is at least more trademarkable.

Relative to the character, I understand what you're getting at. Go all the way or go home. Since some feel that cosplaying shouldn't be about the attention but the love and care for the character.

This particular tattoo is not all that bad. It's just a "girly" flowery pattern that generic girls get out of social pressure to "get inked because it's cool". A red flag, sure, but there are worse stuff out there (like full sleeves on women, oh God).

But still, we're talking about cosplay here and it just objectively lowers the value of the costume, making it less believable.
