I'd also really love somewhere of a middle ground of a plush and a figure with articulated joints but a soft exterior. Call em posable pals. I know they made "posable" plushes recently but they were just wire frames with no joints.
Final idea would be a line of official reproductions of old games in some form, like a collection handheld of RBY to RSE+FRLG. It'd be cool to see it with Bluetooth too so you could migrate them all to home afterwards.
