All I'm saying is there's two sets of starters, one in-region (where most regional pokémon end up getting their adaptations from, living in-region to adapt) and one brought fresh off the boat to the lands. That they just said "starter evolutions" opens up the possibility it's not actually the three given out, but the three wild beasts.
