The reason people accept modern shitty pokemok games is because the decline in quality was so gradual. The only sudden, massive drop in quality was ORASS, but most people excuse that as "that one really really bad pokemon game", even though the truth is that Pokemon never really recovered from that dumpster fire.
What people need to do is actually play one of the older games (Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, it doesn't matter which) immediatelt after playing SwShit - play them back to back - so they can see for themselves the difference in quality. Most people either haven't played the older games at all (zoomers) or haven't played them in a while (millennials) so they forget that Pokemon didn't always completely suck.
