It has the largest concentration of overwhelmingly bad designs and it isn't even close. Way too many maymay designs, way too many designs with facial hair, way too many jobmons. Way too many things that were so close to being solid but got ruined by their own weird color scheme or proportions/feature shapes. Too many bad designs whose only apparent saving grace is "but it's based on something!" which is a really stupid justification for something being good, but you dumbasses keep parroting it regardless.
Honestly a lot of this gen feels like it took that quote about Luxray being an imperfect design and that's what makes it likeable, and turned the whole thing up to 11 and made a bunch of intentionally ugly designs and left it at that.
There are still a handful that I particularly like, though.The Grookey line, Orbeetle, Applin and maybe Flapple, the Arrokuda line, Cramorant, Clobbopus, Runerigus, Falinks, and the Dreepy line will be fondly remembered as 10/10s. And despite my complaints there's still a handful of 7/10-9/10 good designs and 4/10-6/10 solid dex fillers. But man, those bad ones are REALLY bad.
