I wonder if they really would give the starts new evolution lines, because I really don't understand why they chose these three specifically it looks like rei nd Akari are both in the story instead of one disappearing like in Galar and Alola

Waiting for them to reveal the starters' new evolutions first to decide, but it's 50/50 between Oshawott and Cyndaquil. Also, picking male because I'm an autistic self-inset and I've always admired how cool Lucas looks.

Rowlet, I like Decidueye the best of all the final evos here, but realistically I'll be doing playthroughs with all three.

Its honestly hard, since I ran Cyndaquill, Rowlett and Oshawott in their respective gens, I would have liked something else to add spice to the starter I used.

I ran with Lucas in Platinum, and its pretty obvious these two are their ancestors, so I might as well use Rei here.
