Is it me or did gen 3 hoenn have a weird feeling of mystery when going to locations like this. I know other gba games were ahead of RS but there’s something that was exciting to me about whether gba game worlds

Is hacking my N3DS easier than the original 3DS? I hacked my original 3DS thinking it doesn't matter if it got bricked but I just found out that GBA games run like shit on it. I don't want to risk my N3DS but if it's easier then I would do it. I really wanna play Emerald and experience all the evens I missed and move up all the events, Legendaries and Mythicals I catch to the latest games.

All 3DS units can run the Ambassador 3DS GBA games with no issues (since the hardware is still in there.) Any emulators are going to suck.

The New units have a better processor which was not used outside of a couple games because they wanted backwards compatibility with the original units. All the same hacking process.

How are there no reproductions of e-reader tickets? it's just a fucking piece of paper, I refuse to believe no one with a high resolution scanner and a professional quality printer hasn't bothered trying to bootleg these things.

Because anyone who wants the event alone will just cheat it in, and anyone who wants the ticket itself is savvy enough to know if they're looking at a shit bootleg, plus it's a very niche market for physical events. considering how expensive it is to buy them.

The new 3ds improvements seemed to be almost perfectly suited for homebrew.
They beefed up the processor by a lot, twice the cores and almost 4x the clock speed, but the gpu only went up by 2x or something.
Ram got doubled too i think.
I don't really get what they were expecting to do with it game wise. But it was great for emulators.

Was the Deoxys event ever actually released for Emerald in the US? Or just for FRLG? My autism won't allow me to hack in the event unless I know it was available legitimately at some point.

Based. Found this picture from last year, I am too lazy to take it all out for shows now, but I got pretty much all the english eReader cards for ruby and sapphire. I am still on the hunt for the japanese cards, mainly the collosseum set. Shits like 4k on eBay.

Ye same, I began a project a couple of years ago to complete the pokedex by only catching pokemon in A: their original region and B: in a pokeball.

Eon Tickets makes it easy to catch the birds in one game, channel Jirachi is also one of the only legit Jirachi you can get in 3rd gen. I also got the japanese celebi bonus disc with a console and games for a legit 3rd gen celebi but still havent got around to actually do any of these stuff.

I'll save it up to some rainy day I dont have a shit to do. Pic related, took it for a thread a couple of days ago.

Looking back at that event, I really wouldn't spend a ton of money buying legitimate ways to get these events. I just did an emulator with cheats and got Mew back and did the other events in FR. If you need want to relive that time you missed out just do it for free. It's the same feeling at the end of the day.
