) in promo material INSTEAD of base forme, I think it's safe to say Distortion World is in. Couple that with Shaymin and Darkrai as well as Arceus being in the same set of images and it looks like all the platinum and event content will be in the game.

Emerald was the best Gen 3 game, no question. FRLG was a soulless rehash of RBY with updated graphics but without the cool glitches and appeal of the original.

In any other game I'd agree, but Kanto itself is extremely bland so you might as well play it with the glitches. Don't tell me you never tried the Missigno Glitch? Or the Trainer Fly Mew glitch? Or the Fight Safari Zone Pokemon glitch?

And even RS is more fun than FRLG with far more areas to explore. FRLG has a better postgame due to the Sevii Islands, but Emerald's Battle Frontier more than makes up for the disparity.

It really isn't much of a problem in game, only in competitive. How many people even played competitive prior to Gen IV? Wrap was the only move that really bothered me in-game. The critical hit glitch was actually good for me because I was usually the one outspeeding and landing the critical hits.
