>>48495497I agree that N is the best, but I still preferred Cheren and Bianca to Hugh. Hugh's entire personality revolved around his sister's Purrloin being stolen by Team Plasma. The conflict between Bianca and her father was quite touching. She wasn't a great rival, but at least her character showed some degree of depth. I think Hugh is only ranked at #9 because people like his design. The same is true for May. She's only ranked that high because of her appearance. She was boring in RSE and if it weren't for the fight before Mauville being a speedrun killer she would be completely forgettable outside of the Ashnime. It feels like she only existed for the sake of giving you items.
