I just want a new generation of Pokemon without any of the gimmicks introduced in Gen 6 onward. No mega evolutions. No dynamaxing. No gigantamaxing. None of these weird off-brand "regional" forms of pre-existing 'mon, even the ones I actually like. Just, a normal new generation.
Have three or four new legendaries, hide 'em throughout the post-game of whatever new games are cranked out, and let us discover them for ourselves. The buddy feature from HGSS would be cool to see again, but not necessary.
I don't even mind the upgraded 3D models they started using after BW2. I don't *prefer* them, but I can live with 'em if they'd just get the other stuff right. Include all the current Pokemon in the games and I'm happy. Shoot, imagine a game that allowed you to pick a starter from a lineup of every starter thus far.
Guess I have very traditionalist views on this front. Whatever. That's what would get me reinvested in this franchise.
