Regional Variant ideas

I'm making a region based off of Washington. I need help with regional variants for mons from Gen IV. I only have Roserade (Pacific rhododendron) and Chatot (Grunge).

Maybe a Camerupt variant based on St. Helens, or maybe even one based on the Cascade Volcanoes in general. Like you've got three volcano humps on its back, one for Hood, one for St. Helens, and one for Rainier.

Hell, I totally blanked and thought Numel and Camerupt were both from Gen IV for a sec. Sorry about that. In that case, you could always make Abomasnow into Bigfoot. Just take away its Ice-type, color it brown, and make it shaggier.

Tbh it has Seattle and several major tech companies, but they'd likely utilize California's Silicon Valley if it came down to a choice between the two.

A fangame shouldn’t try and follow the same mistakes GF make, anon. If you want a cold rainy forested mountain region, Washington still sucks. Alaska would be cooler, pun intended.

Ah, I see your point. You're right, OPs idea shouldn't be hindered by Game Freak's narrowminded view. I keep viewing this thread more like those "next region gonna be" rather than something else.

But by that same logic, couldn't OP make it better anyways so long as they're creative with the inspiration? Could always make Alaska a secondary region along with Canada's Victoria Island serving as the E4 or battle facilities. Like you said, no need to be limited.

We have frogs.
Lots of frogs.
STUPID amounts of frogs.
I once caught an entire 10 gallon aquarium worth of frogs(that's about 80 frogs. They were not comfortable.)
Many toxic.
Came from Eatonville, near Mt. Rainer.
It'll be a disservice if you don't give a Croagunk and its evolution a variant.

I mean that's ignoring eastern Washington but yeah. Cold rainforests are cool though, and you get a lot of room to relax and let your thoughts spill onto the ground with nothing to hinder you.

In Alola raticate it got fat for the food of the region so in a place set in America you have to have a lot of fat pokemon, plus I think junk food is the only distinctive element of that place that people know
