This will be my Sword team, currently beat the first gym. Already played Shield back when it came out and swapped versions with someone else I'm playing with.

I like the bottom team the most. You should use a Skuntank for one of your teams though.

I´m not denying that skuntank is usefull, is just that I don´t like that Pokémon, I made the teams on Pokémon that I like in the present and also when I was a child

Aww Skuntank is my third favorite poison type. I used both Runerigus and Centiskorch back on my Shield playthrough and both of them ended up in my favorites of each type chart.

Maybe but this is just about trying out the Pokemon I really like that couldn't make it on my first team. Galarian Slowking is also too cool not to use and I traded a psychic surge Indeedee egg to my game so it'll work out well. Zen Darmanitan is going to end up doing all the work anyways in the versus battles.

I tried to give myself good type coverage with pokemon that were native to the given region, as well as using cool pokemon i'd never used before instead of defaulting to my top picks

I did make a few exceptions though; Starmie found its way into my Emerald team, and I used a few gen 2 shadow pokemon in my Sapphire team as I was running out of gen 3 native pokemon by the time I started my third hoenn run. I also based my Cute Charm Platinum team around which shinies looked coolest.

Overall it was pretty fun using pokemon I hadn't given a proper chance to before, as well as getting to replay old games and see how they'd held up over time compared to how I remembered them.

Posted my Brillliant Diamond team countless times already so I'll post what i'm using for the other version.

Gonna have to peruse what all is in the underground on my Diamond playthrough to see if there's any other fire or flying types besides the kind of boring options of Staraptor, Rapidash and such.
We still don't even know if they bothered to change what's encounterable in the routes like platinum or if they just shoved everything in the underground
