Legends: Arceus and the inevitably open world Gen 9 will be the guinea pigs for Legends: Johto. Legends: Johto has the potential to be the best game in the franchise. Then, Johto will be universally loved again, just like how it was before PChal made the infamous video and Joe started slandering Johto.
I really don't want another traditional Johto remake, because HGSS is perfectly fine as is, and I don't want it outshining them.
Legends: Johto is the final piece in the puzzle for establishing full Johto supremacy. GF just needs to play their cards right.
If traditional Johto remakes are announced I will unironically off myself. I devoted everything to Johto, and it would be all for nothing if GF goes that route.
