part of the reason why he's such a formidable trainer is because he was inherently forced to both pay extreme attention to the state of battle and also train his pokemon to be able to act and strategise on their own accord - meaning he's able to pick up on an opponent's tactics extremely quickly, and there's no traditional audial cue of red giving commands for an opponent to listen for
copycat in rby also goes against this but i don't care, this is cooler

Red's Charizard can mega evolves into zard x in battle, that's where the blue flames come from
Outside of that it's not that different from LGPE Red, the jacket is 15cm longer (for charizard's wings?) and that's it
