i used to religiously hate this blue fucker but after the kalos anime and him becoming my main in smash, he became one of my favorites.

if it wasnt for samurott, he'd be my top 1 water starter

Wow, that's awfully similar to me, only I didn't hate it, was just indifferent to it. Started loving it after maining it on Unite(load in pic did things to me, but picked it originally after trying out multiple unite mons) and now it's in my top 2 Pokemon and has outclassed Samurott as my favorite water starter. Watched XY because of it and it didn't hurt either and was intriguing

Me too. Its tongue used to weird me out but I'm mostly over that part of it and I think Greninja is a pretty fun concept. Definitely my favorite of the Kalos ones now. Plus frogs are cool

Fucking loved Froakie and really liked frogadier. Thought the fucking tongue looked really retarded and thus hated Greninja. Years later it’s really grown on me. Still think the tongue looks fucking retarded but it’s overall a cool design.

Unite actually got me really liking him, also recently used him in a SwSh playtrough and a little online battling. I love his movepool with Libero, it's really fun to play around with, can't wait till I can use him with Ninja on a team one day.
