and please, appealing to animal behavior is basically an admission of defeat. unless you believe we should all undergo mandatory sex changes halfway through our lives, kill ourselves to feed our young, or simply die once insemination is achieved.
not to mention the fact that every animal species that practices polygamy involves copious amounts of either rape or murder, neither of which are acceptable in a civilized society.
