Defensively it resists/immune to 4 important types
Fighting is amazing offensively
Dragon type Pokémon tend to be strong so immunity to their STAB is useful
Dark has great moves like knock off, snarl, and sucker punch
Bug is actually worthless offensively based on the type chart but has u-turn making fairy resist the most common pivot move
Offensively it isn’t overpowered looking at the type chart
even though the only reason it's resisted by Fire is to buff Charizard but Moonblast is insultingly good. 95BP with 30% effect chance is ridiculous compared to Flamethrower/Ice Beam/ Thunderbolt only having 90BP and
10% effect chance.
The best way to nerf it would be to remove 1 resistance. Bug is resisted by over 1/3 of all existing types so have fairy lose the bug resist.
