Hisuian Pokemon will only be obtainable in PLA and anyone that want to use one in future main games has to transfer them from home. Breeding Hisuian Pokemon always yields regular ones too.

SwSh isn't dead. They explicitly stated that neither BDPS or Legends will have ranked battles (and Legends won't have multiplayer at all). SwSh is still the main game for battling, BDSP and Legends are just shitty spin-offs like LGPE.
