Oddish salad: Just clip some of the leaves on top. It's renewable too. You should make sure it doesn't have Poison Powder or Stun Spore first though. A little Sleep Powder can be a good thing if you're having trouble sleeping well.
Don't cook the whole Oddish though. That would be an odd dish.

I think many normal pokemon or first evo fish are the ones who get inside the plate.
Later evos or some exceptions can happen.
Still, it would be an interesting mechanic: say, you go to a dinner, ask for a meal, and that meal can raise or lower your friendship with your pokemon (depending on the ingredients and the meat it's used, like eat pidgey and that lowers your friendship with your bird mons, or eat steak and that raises your friendship with your hunter pokemon)

Reminds me of an old biblical passage. I forgot the number or the chapter, but it said "if a lizard enterns your water urn, kill the lizard and break the urn".

I think Spoink is the most "normal" of the three. I know he is a psychic type, but if he stops bouncing he dies, so I bet farmers make them fat, and one day they just grab their tail spring. Boom! Spoink on the table.
As for swinub and tepig, they may taste like wild boar, only difference is that swinub takes time to cook (since he is an ice type), and tepig's meat is hot and spicy.
As for mankey, monkey is eaten in some regions by local tribes, so it must taste like sweet monkey meat? Probably something like that.
