>48548080What a stupid post, no (you) for you. starve
Half your post is redundant because Bug is already weak or resisted by most those types and for the other half there are several reasons why bugs do/could have the upper hand including but not limited to
Bugs burrow in the ground
Bugs are hard to hit even by martial artist
Bugs resist radiation
Bugs have ways of surviving the cold
Bugs eat plants
Computers are destroyed by “bugs”
Many insects have aquatic larvae
As for Bug against Fairy: the common trope off overly prissy character being scared of bugs, bugs eating sweet things, heroic Kamen Riders defeating a magic user or alien from the moon, bugs having simple minds so they aren't affected by the fairy trickery, or even the simple fact that bugs actually exist while fairies are stuck in fairy tales)
That’s not even getting into the obvious issue of competitive balance, the only “logical” reason to add another type. Reminder that even though iron is said to ward off evil and ghosts, Game Freak actually had the common sense to remove Steel’s resistances to Ghost and Dark. And Game Freak even handled Fairy well for the most part, but because they’re either malicious or incompetent they fucked everything up by having it resist Bug. Now fairy resists 3 of the most useful types on top of resisting Bug, all while only being weak to two lackluster offensive types, Ironically making far more broken than Dragon ever was. The most obvious solution would be to do what OP
>>48547959 said but I’d settle for bugs and fairies being neutral to each other.
TLDR: your post was dumb, Fairy needs a nerf, Bug needs a buff, there are several justifications,
