Those of you age 26+

I had this game when it first came out but I never got that far into it and I remember virtually nothing from it.

Is it actually a good game worth revisiting? I enjoyed Black and about two thirds of the Gen V Pokedex.

Played it when it came out, I was 16. Definitely revived my love for Pokemon, but I fell in love with BW1 first.

The game is the definition of soul, and probably the last Pokemon game with actual effort put on it. Give it a try anon.

I had some of the most fun in the single-player portion of it compared to other pokemon games, and the online features with Join Avenue were great, trading Magnemites with everyone in a global coordinated effort was neat.

Used an Action Replay to start the game on Challenge Mode, having an easy/hard difficulty for these games was a rare touch for Pokemon, but accessing them was absolutely impractical and dumb beyond reason.

I stopped playing after platinum and came back to this when I saw how terrible xy and sm was. It's worth picking up if you like unova but hate its garbage dex

yes, absolutely. the only problem is if you play physical you won't be able to access challenge mode without an action replay or another copy and if you play on emulator you won't be able to memory link with your copy of the game. pick whichever is more important to you

26, it was everything I expected out of Platinum and Emerald turned up to 11. WAY more changes to the map, and they added new towns, trainers, and routes as well. It even has a new take on the Battle Frontier. Definitely rekindled my Pokemania even in my late teens.T he shit is just good from start to finish and it was clearly made by a team who was critical of their own work in the past rather than being complacent. The regional dex is huge too, definitely the biggest at the time. It probably still is.

I'd say black 2 is worth a playthrough, it's certainly not the best game but it's fun enough. If you liked black I don't see why you wouldn't like its sequel

This game killed my love of pokemon and made me skip out on the games that came after until around last year when I finally played Y, OR, and Ultra sun. Y made me feel nostalgic for the good old days of RBY with how simple yet elegant it was, OR is the only way I can even tolerate Hoenn considering how shitty the region and the GBA games are, and US is a dumpsterfire with all the problems of Black 2 amped up to 20.

do you have to play it through the 3ds proper or TwilightMenu? I finished White on Twilight because Anti Piracy was stopping me when I tried to boot it from Menu. I wanna play White 2 at some point and would love to still use the Wi Fi to trade Pokemon over.
