Well, that, and the conglomeration of the internet. The death of personalities across the internet. The destruction of all who dare to compete with them through monopolistic practices(IE:overuse of JS.)
More worryingly, the push of what they've made so far. Shopping could be used to track any type of purchase. Password manager could easily be used to aquire other's accounts on competitor's browsers. TV could be used to spread whatever propaganda they like.
Let's take the first two.
With this, let's say hypothetically they hate Windows. They want ChromeOS to be the only OS. So, whenever they catch someone buying a Windows machine AND has their passwords managed by them, they could simply take control of those accounts and effectively ruin their lives.
That's why I'm worried;we're giving one conglomerate(Alphabet Inc.) too much power, and letting just a handful of people determine the future of what we get online, rather than letting the internet decide.
