Well it's the only one that isn't a shipper's delusion, but being canonically acknowledged doesn't mean they'll ever end Ash's story. The only thing it really does is protect Serena from being cucked. She made sure Ash could never be canonically shipped with anyone again.

When was she a creep exactly? Also you do realize that Amour stuff only appeared in like 20ish episodes over the course the XY's entire run. The only reason it seemed like a lot was that the scenes were posted over and over again by shipperfags. She focused on her goal a ton more than Ash.
