it has access to STAB powder snow, which is the most accurate highest PP room-clearing damaging move, in a game where STAB gives you a better bonus than doing super effective damage, and it is an ice type attack
mind reader and sheer cold are learned by level up, meaning that it and smeargle have the unique niche of just linking the two
hovering mobility even without grinding IQ
recruited at level 53, can be recruited with 450 max HP if you abuse reviver seeds (look it up)
