XY can be made into a joke with the literal full team of ideal Pokemon you're gifted and X Items.

LGPE is already a joke at its core. If you're having trouble with it, you're actively missing the point that you're supposed to be catching 'em all, including multiples of Pokemon you already have in order to gain more EXP as well as send them off for stat boosting candies.
SWSH can be made into a joke by staying in the Wild Area for a few minutes, doing raids, getting EXP Candy and shoveling it all into your starter. Apply X Items as necessary.
