Yes and cold freezes water. Yet ingame it doesn't work like that at all except for one single move. Most ground type attacks are sand and dust based.

Make accelerock a TM. Make more offensive/fast rock types as rock is a great offensive type. Defensive maybe give them a self resist and make a new rock recovery move like roost
