>>48593447Personally I think it would've been interesting if they played more into the Ultra worlds concept more, have the plot centralize around the gradual appearance of Ultra Wormholes, in USUM them being a known entity that initially is unknown why they're occurring but you'd later find out are a result of the mass transportations between the Aether Foundation and URS, so alongside the natural locations across Alola you'd periodically come across Ultra Wormholes which lead the player through ultra world versions of areas of Alola with their own groups of people similar to those we saw in Kartana's Ultra World. However to tie back into Necrozma, while obviously the URS is looking for a means to return the light that Necrozma stole from their world and is perhaps trying to appease the Island Guardians as a result, it's unknown why the Aether Foundation is interested, however you'd find out throughout the game that Lusamine had learnt of Necrozma's presence fairly early on as well as its affinity for Cosmog and hoped to gain control of it for herself, initially attempting to use Cosmog as the vector (which would give reasoning as to why Lillie would rescue Cosmog from Lusamine when the URS already gives Lusamine easy Ultra Wormhole transportation) however after Cosmog is stolen would through her own egomania believe she's able to control Necrozma directly simply through controlling the Ultranecrozium-Z and would be continuing to provide Necrozma with energy behind the URS's back by having the Aether Foundation and Team Skull collect Z-Crystals across Alola.
