I started watching the first season of Pokemon.

I'm actually surprised, this is so different from S&M. First off, Ash is angry and cocky. And he doesn't even catch Pokemon, they just all decide to befriend him for some reason. What's even worse is that so far he hasn't beat one gym leader. Ash just pulls off some kind of stunt like saving the gym from a fire and is rewarded the badge.
