Honest question, how does TPC benefit from making the exp share a permanent thing? What is their logic behind that? I can't think of any

It probably helps them balance the game around it, if you could turn it off you could eventually run into balance issues that would require grinding to solve, which they'd probably want to avoid to streamline progression as much as possible. It's ultimately an accessibility thing.

There's nothing wrong with team share. What's bad is that it also shares EVs. Put a toggle on that and no one would complain.

I didn't say they don't know how, I said doing so would be wasted effort. Why bother and risk having unknowing players run into potential balance issues when you could just have it on all the time and ensure the game will be balanced for all players? I don't agree with the logic, but there's definitely logic there.

An option that makes grinding longer for no real benefit except to appease people who really would still hate the game regardless seems like a waste of time.

Plus little kids might accidentally turn it off and mot realize what they did like how kids somehow turn on the magnifying glass or invert colors on an ipad and don’t know how to turn that shit off and neither do their parents.

Just put the old Exp share back in the game. Then make the new Experience share available ONLY after you beat the elite 4. Call it the Exp All like back in the day. If they're worried about grinding then bring back shaking grass with pokemon like Audino. But add other pokemon to the grass that give increased XP but different EVs. Or hell just bring back the fucking vs seeker

There I saved pokemans. It's not that hard

This. They don't want little kids turning it off and getting stuck because their parents probably won't have a clue what to do when their brats come complaining. Uh most kids absolutely did not before the xp share was implemented, almost everyone who played Blue when it came out used only Charizard/Blastoise.

Made it impossible to get lost or not know what to do in black and white, made over 150 new pokemon. Poured his soul into gen 5.

Made XY a total homage to gen 1. Gave charizard and mewtwo two (2) new forms each. Even more easy.

He listens. At least he did for a while. He wants us to be happy but we never are. Maybe he misinterprets our complaints and we end up monkey pawing ourselves. But he does want people to like these games. Hes probably just confused or apathetic at this point. But we made him that way. We are responsible for the negative changes. This is the masuda we deserve.
