>>48602795I think it's just that this remake is an actual remake while ORAS and LGPE are supposed to take place in an alternate universe (despite HGSS also having redesigns), they still acknowledge RSE with Maxie and Archie in USUM and characters like Lucy are also in Masters, also it could be that GameFreak just wants 0 involvement with the game to focus entirely on Arceus, so redesigns weren't even on the table in the first place
