>>48610435>no it wasn'tYour opinion, I guess. I can agree to disagree here.
>no they weren'tI don't think the rivals have ever been as ineffective as they were in XY. Serena/Calem seems to exist to get shat on by the player, Shauna has that chateau date thingy and that's all I remember from her, Tierno's dancing shtick was barely reflected in his team and it was a terrible team, Trevor's thing was the pokedex, but I'm fairly sure he is actually incapable of doing better than you. They're basically props to make (you) look better.
>not a flawNo, really. How is that not a flaw? The first part of the game felt big when I played it, but the second half feels cramped and rushed in comparison. It's really jarring.
>no they don'tYeah, they do. All those Pokemon that are stuck in flying animations look really wonky, but in Amie it's clear that they do have non-flying poses and animations. It's a really weird decision. If they wanted to make everything Sky Battle proof, they should've just made them use the flying models on in Sky Battles.
>>48610454You're right on Refresh, but all those animations are still only in Refresh. In-battle, where you see your pokes the most, it's still the same as in XY. And breeding got some conveniences, but the Tauros pen is significantly worse compared to the long roads or ORAS's loop. It's faster, yes, but you need two hands. Breeding is something I did while browsing or doing something else, and SM ruined that, together with the PSS.
