I'd have a harder time naming something about it that is not memorable.
Snowbelle, the forest labyrinth, the Pokémon village at the end, Couriway and its waterfall, the rainy route where you can find Sliggoos to evolve, Terminus cave, Victory Road with fucking Hydreigons falling from the sky, the whole Pokémon League, and obviously the whole Flare hideout with the meme button choice and AZ's backstory.
The part you mentioned from Laverre to Anistar is pure kino (with the swamp, the Pokéball factory, the Lost Hotel, the storyteller house, the whole autumn shtick, the large mega crystal, the ice cavern, Mamoswine route, and everything) but there's no "there" where it stops being top tier.
The games are just a lot of fun in general. A lot of fun, and a lot of incredible soundtracks to back it up.
