when i was younger i was in love with darkrai, its still my favorite pokeon, but at the time (gen 6 was the most recent gen) i couldnt get my hands on one due to being an idiot kid
did a bunch of trades with randoms on the pss, ended up trading a nonhacked shiny terrakion i got for a japanese darkrai
the worst part is that i had an actual darkrai from the original toys r us event, but my sister made me trade it to her for a fucking golduck bc she convinced me it was super rare

many years ago I traded a legit event deoxys for a shiny zoroark since it was my bf's favorite pokemon. in retrospect the shiny was probably injected and my bf stopped playing shortly thereafter.

I traded my Tornadus for a Noctowl because I hadn't played Soul Silver(despite owning it at the time). Originally, it was a trade for Thundurus but being 12 and naive, I thought that Noctowl was another legendary.
I still fail to see why my parents and peers consider me intelligent.

Actually, that being said, I did get other Pokemon in the trade. I got 4 others, I had Armaldo(which I knew from Mystery Dungeon which I had started playing at the time), Bronzong, and a couple others I forgot. All of them were pre-gen 5 Pokemon though.
I lost the cartridge a year later, and I'm still disappointed in myself.
