got diamond after that, still have the cart, my most recent save file last played in 2009 had 200 hours on it but i never even beat the elite 4 lol, and i ahd save files before that one im pretty sure.
Platinum was the first pokemon game i actually played all the way through, though. ive actually played through it maybe 20 times, actually. didnt have any other games as a kid. can name evry city and route song just by hearing the firs few seconds, and can tell you the pokemon 95% of the trainers use just by seeing them
