When Nintendo couldn't push them to get Pokémon 2/Gold and Silver out within two years, everyone in-brand accepted GF needed three years at a time to make new Gens and given they continued filling out the release schedule with rehashes and remakes, everything was gravy. Even in Gen IV, when they fucked the wi-fi up, no cunt harried them as they needed to have the wi-fi working right and were content enough to wait until it was ready.
Jump forward to now, they not only got DLC launched under covid, while studios word-wide got fucked over HARD, dexit cut the need to care about 900 'mons at once further streamlining the development process and they're readying their third release of the Gen (as they've done more often than not in the past Gens) with the next Gen pairing nearing reveal. No cunt *needs* to push them at this stage, they're well aware they need to keep the gravy train rolling without some suit with no clue of the process squeaking at them. They own TPC, not the other way around, remember?
