This argument is dumb, ORAS sucked ass, BUT it at least gave you a reason to play it with all the new features and new character designs added and some story shit, as bad as it was. It also kept some features, like the fucking CONTESTS, intact, which BDSP couldn't do. RSE and ORAS give different experiences, which is the root of this argument.
BDSP, on the other hand, does none of that. No trainer redesigns, no improvements from Platinum, no new story elements or a new way to look at Sinnoh, no new areas, no new features, anything you liked about Platinum Sinnoh isn't there at all. There is quite literally nothing new to experience outside of the underground which is really just a bandaid for the bad dex distribution.
And on top of all that its braindead easy because of forced EXP share, so its somehow worse than the original DP because now its $60.
