I'm convinced, genuinely, full-heartedly, without a shadow of doubt, that Game Freak INTENTIONALLY had this game made bad. This is not just "bad". It's not just "unfinished". No, it takes EFFORT to make a game this shit. They went out of their way for BDSP to be as gigantic pieces of shit as they possibly could, all so that it wouldn't overshadow their games and they could go "See, see! Look, if someone else makes a mainline game then it's shit! Now you know only we can do it right!" when SWSH are some of the most barebones, rushed, and unfinished messes I've ever seen. They actively sabotaged the game, Masuda actively sabotaged the game, so that more people would think only they could do it right so that they could cling to life just a little fucking longer. There's no other way, there's just literally no other way this game could have turned out so badly. It's an absolute disgrace.
This not only killed even the vaguest of interests I had in this game, it also killed the interest I had for Legends.
God, I wish this company would just fucking die already and stop trying to crawl it's way out of the grave. Just give the license to some other publisher than has the time to put effort into it.
