Will they ever increase the amount of Pokemon you can carry at once? The more they add with each coming generation, the harder it is to narrow my favorites down to 6 dudes. Will we ever get 8 or 10 Mon teams?

The League has always dictated that trainers may carry up to 6 Pokemon. As such, all pokeball belts and similar holders have only 6 slots.

They should make a Pokemon game set in a third world shithole where League regulations do not exist and everyone operates on street rules. You can have teams of up to 50 Pokemon and there's a possibility for your Pokemon to die (or simply become "no longer fit to fight")

The number isn’t for no reason. The league recognizes that six is the optimal limit for trainers to carry as many Pokémon as they can reasonably take care of.

And Game Freak sets the rules based on pacing, balance, and probably single player difficulty. What difference does it even make? If anything, teams should be SMALLER to make up for how braindead forced exp share makes leveling an entire team up.
