But the game is torturously slow paced with so little content that /pmg/ makes up its own content with self-imposed challenges. We get about 17K gems a month on average, and while you only need 300 gems per roll, the 2% rate for featured units insists you to have 36.6K gems before you roll on a banner to guarantee you can get the unit you want. At 36.6K gems used for a banner you get to take the unit of your choice from that banner. Twice now I've had to rely on that full 36.6K to get the unit I wanted.
But yeah, /pmg/ is home to a lot of suckered whales and dolphins. I'm F2P, but I only get about half a dozen limited units a year.
